Mechanical Engineer - (North Kansas City, MO)

Facilitate OEM engineering teams in the design of engine system installations in OEM equipment. Design engine system packages for product manufactured by Central Power Systems and Services. Produce and manage bill of materials and associated manufacturing prints. Work with production to design and implement procedural changes to improve efficiency and quality control. You will ideally have background in the following areas: Structured engineering BOM management, product costing, and product configuration. Engineering design reviews Creating and documenting engineering analysis containting suggestions for correcting errors Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies Submit a scope of work for each project that includes budgetary numbers and the goal of each project Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from junior teammates for accuracy
