Avionics Software Test Engineer - (Stratford, CT)

- This position is in the aerospace industry, and supports diagnostics software test and integration for a development aircraft. The Avionics Software Test Engineer will execute avionics diagnostics software test procedures in Sikorsky?s System Integration Laboratory (SIL). - This is a 6-month requirement to supplement the testing effort primarily on weekends and/or 3rd shift. The applicant must be flexible and willing to work overtime. - Understand Avionics architecture, including block diagrams and schematics. - Execute diagnostics software test procedures. - Write Engineering Test Reports (ETRs) and System Inquiry Reports (SIRs). - Redline test procedures as needed. - Provide weekly status reports with accomplishments, issues and risks. - Drug Screen - Experience investigation - US Citizen or Permanent resident
