Production Superintendent - Chemicals (Registration Required) - (Baton Rouge, LA)

Compensation range: $120,000 - $140,000/year. base salary (target bonus on top of that) Min Qualifications: B.S. Chemical Engineering or B.S. Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of total background and 3+ years of supervision, having supervised at least twenty hourly personnel. It would be a bonus if the applicant had background with PSM regulations, SAP and/or distributive controls (Yokagawa). Relocation benefits is available. Position description:This brand-new, PSM regulated facility is owned by a large, International chemical company. At this 50 person site, they are producing specialty chemicals. This is a new position and this person would be supervising 28 operators and 4 shift supervisors. This role will be responsible for training of new and existing operators, performance appraisals, review changes in operating procedures, oversee unit operations, oversee lockout procedures, scheduling of maintenance, and production support.
