VETERINARY TECHNICIAN with Ohio License - (Cincinnati, OH)

Join our staff which includes four veterinarians and three other R.V.T.s among a staff of seventeen at a busy, small animal practice located in Mason, near West Chester. We rely on our veterinary technicians to work autonomously and use their skills to the fullest extent. Our technicians are in charge of surgery set up, anesthesia, and assisting. They perform dental cleanings, place catheters, take radiographs, and see technician appointments for services that do not require a doctor. They must collect blood samples, run routine lab tests, give injections, care for hospitalized patients, fill and administer medications. We see rabbits and other pocket pets in addition to dogs and cats. A caring, enthusiastic attitude toward both people and their pets is a must. Our R.V.T.s are given a large amount of responsibility so they must possess high-quality skills and an attention to detail.
