Assistant Superintendent SOUTH DEERFIELD WATER DISTRICT The South Deerfield Water District is seeking an individual with background in the operation and management of a municipal water treatment, distribution, and storage system. Our present Superintendent has announced he would like to retire soon, and the applicant must be capable of rapidly gaining knowledge, in order to assume the role of Superintendent reasonably soon. We are a DEP D-2 distribution and T-2 treatment facility. ~ Assignments include but are not limited to: Compliance with U.S. EPA Safe Drinking Water Act, and Mass DEP drinking water regulations (310CMR22.00) Operation & maint of treatment plant, & all distribution, & storage sys State & federal reporting Supervision of direct employees & contractors Budget development and management Requirements: Must possess applicable State licenses & have at least 5yrs relevant exper A Mass driver's license Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communications and people skills Strong
