Supply/Warehouse Technician with Security Clearance - (Hollywood, MD)

Position Summary The Supply/Warehouse Technician has a thorough working expertise of purchasing policies, processes and procedures. Complete knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of material work planning and methods engineering processes and procedures. Extensive knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements. Complete knowledge of all related skill area machines and equipment, to include ability to operate a forklift. Primary duties and responsibilities - * Supports Project / Program Managers / Purchasing Agent * Receive all material, machinery, chemicals and supplies * Verify shipments against purchase orders and examine upon arrival * Prepare items for shipment to customers and/or return to supplier * Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers, date and lot codes, revisions, etc.
