Sample Technician - (Battle Creek, MI)

Objective: We are currently seeking a applicant for a Lab Assistant opportunity in a food and scientific industry. This individual will be responsible for weighing and documenting food samples. 90% of the job will consist of weighing and documenting the samples and the other 10% of the time will be spent where the applicant can help out . Critical skills: Applicant must have a min of 1yr working background in a lab (academia or professional) Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, chemistry, biology , or a related position Familiarity with analytical balance and lab setting background is needed for this role Additional Background: Background working in an FDA regulated environment Background with food testing Any familiarity with chromatography The hours for this position are third shift: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM (3 openings) Expect to work six - 7 days a week currently based on the project and current workload.
