POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Supervisor position directs all maintenance activities required to maintain the efficient and safe operation of all equipment and grounds of the facility. Assigns work orders, coordinates repairs, and service work to all assigned personnel as needed. This position reports to the plant engineer and communicates issues affecting maintenance work scheduling and completion. RESPONSIBILITES Schedules individual employees to projects as needed to achieve optimum completion of work orders and to complete emergency work requests.Coordinates activities of maintenance and contractors with production departments to minimize interference with production.Maintains records, works with the maintenance planning department to requisition new and replacement parts and supplies for new projects.Supervises employees; handles employee s grievances and complaints with established policy; makes recommendations on hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, training
