Position: Paraprofessional Child Care TAPP Location: TAPP Program Elkhart Area Career Center Schedule: 7.5 hours per day; 188 days per year. Expiration: This posting will expire when filled. Qualification: Required: A copy of college transcripts showing a min of 48 hours of earned college credit of a copy of Para Pro test results must accompany this application. Required: Forty 8 hours of earned college credit at an institution of higher education, or obtained an associates degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment (Para Pro Test); (a) knowledge of and the expertise to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics or (b) knowledge of, and the expertise to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate; sensitivity toward needs of English Language Learners; Spanish preferred. Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
