Shipping and Receiving Lead-PCS (436-146) - (Frederick, CO)

Our company is looking for a qualified individual that can process all outbound shipping including determining method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate and time of shipment, and documenting items shipped by recording identifying info of items and transport info. Main responsibilities/Required functions: * Builds appropriate shipping crates for shipping by road, sea or air; prepares shipments by assembling, packing, and loading; installs protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. * Enters addresses and shipment details into computer system and labels all shipments. * Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment; works with custom broker freight forwarder. * Completes any pertinent customs paperwork for international shipments. * Verifies identifying info and quantity and condition of items.
