Veterinarian - Pharmacovigilance - (Jefferson, GA)

Summary: Review, analyze, and interpret pharmacovigilance data to identify potential trends and PV signals using signal detection software and tools Liaison with the Veterinary Technical Service departments: obtain follow-up details related to adverse event reports; provide training regarding global health authority regulations related to Pharmacovigilance Provide support for internal business partners by providing appropriate interpretation of Pharmacovigilance data and actively participate in the process of improving current systems Enter, review, assess and assign clinical sign codes for individual adverse drug background reports based on clinical judgment Requirements: DVM and at least 2yrs background in veterinary science, clinic background is required At least two years in the pharmaceutical/biological industry; especially pharmacovigilance and/or regulatory issues, is a plus. Expertise to work efficiently in a global team environment.
