Position title: Clinical Laboratory Technician Clerk Location: New Haven, CT Duration: 12 mnths Position details: Under direction of the Shipping Manager, assignments include: Tracking and updating the unit shipping calendar. Keeping track of the necessary inventory of supplies required to fulfill all shipments. Keep up to date with all training and shipping regulations of biological specimens. Train others to assist in specimen shipping during high volume shipping periods. Scan all specimens into the laboratory details management system for tracking and quality control. Create shipping manifests and spreadsheets as required per shipment. Properly package and label all shipments in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Track and confirm all shipments. Be responsible for maintaining and ordering an adequate amount of dry ice on site for all clinical lab needs.
