Position title: QA Engineer (Black Box) Location: San Francisco, CA Duration: six months Job summary: Client XD Black Box Quality Engineer The Client XD team is looking for a software quality engineer to join our growing team to help us rapidly deliver our desktop design application to customers. The applicant should possess a good attitude, be keen to learn new technology and be able to work unaided. They should also possess outstanding communication expertise, be methodical in their testing process and pay close attention to detail. Responsibilities : Execute acceptance test run on release applicant software, guided by existing test plans. File detailed issue reports for failing tests; work with automation and development engineers to verify fixes. Review specifications and test plans, identifying gaps in coverage and supplementing with new test cases. Manage desktop environments for accurate install/update testing.
