Supplier Quality Engineer - (Fresno, CA)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Utilize quality, engineering, and computer skills to improve the products and processes provided to the customer. Become an active team player working with Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to drive improvements through the product lifecycle. A key member of supplier team, working to improve supplier deliverables. Apply principles of 6 sigma, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and supplier assessment. PRINCIPAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze quality data to determine performance of suppliers. Develop a supplier audit program. Assess suppliers based on performance, both remotely and on site. Improve quality, engineering, and manufacturing procedures to support compliance and continuous improvement. Provide required supporting data analysis requested for internal and external audits and assessments.
