CAD Draftsman- Water Treatment - (Schertz, TX)

Position overview Alamo HR is seeking a degreed Document Control Specialist (DCS) with 5+ yrs. of background. The DCS will be responsible for setting up project files (both electronic and hard copy), uploading and issuing engineering, subcontractor, and vendor documents into Document Locator system and assisting with archiving. In addition, the DCS will manage the document control center, drive schedule with respect to timely submittal of documents, and assist the Director in auditing the quality of project documentation. The ideal DCS will have previous background working with technical documentation and be able to recognize specific engineering submittals such as: P&IDs (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams) Equipment Data Sheets Laboratory and Field Reports Submittal Documents Project Schedules and Updates Other vendor data (i.e. electrical, civil & mechanical engineering drawings) Key responsibilities: Keep a distribution matrix of project documents
