UNIX Linux Team Lead - (Chester, VA)

Description:Northrop Grumman Info Systems sector is seeking UNIX Linux Team Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in the Chester, VA. The qualified candidate will lead a team of fifteen+ engineers responsible for supporting the Commonwealth of Virginia--------s server environment within the area of Operations support, Disaster Recovery, and projects or engagements. There are 800+ servers running different versions of Linux or UNIX. The team is responsible to maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
