Police Officer - (Pittsburgh, PA)

FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER The Borough of Mt. Oliver is now accepting applications for the position of full time police officer. Candidates must meet the following qualifications prior to application: Be at least 21yrs of age. Possess a high-school degree or equivalent (GED). Be Act 120 Certified or have successfully completed Act 120 Training and successfully passed the final exam, thus being eligible for Act 120 Certification once hired by the Borough. Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a Police Officer. Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License. Applications are available at the Borough Building, 150 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh PA, 15210. The Borough Building is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Completed applications must be turned in to the Borough Secretary during normal business hours by Friday, February 24th. A $50 testing fee must accompany completed applications. Checks can be made payable to the Borough of Mt. Oliver.
