Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana in beautiful Carmel by the Sea, CA is hiring a front of house Manager with a high-level of customer service skills and the expertise to oversee this busy restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts. Candidate must have previous managerial experience and strong management expertise with a keen eye for detail in the dining room, retail café and bar. Position includes the desire to provide our guests plus supervise our staff with hospitality at all times. Duties include completing staff schedules with labor costs and budgets in line. Understanding POS system, food safety, Italian and CA wines are required. Italian food, Italian wine, and retail coffee service with Management experience is necessary. Please include solid references and a history of achievement in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Must have a flexible schedule including weekends.
