Job DescriptionSUMMARY: Our client, who is located on the west side of Cincinnati, is a machine tool manufacturer. They are seeking a CNC programmer for CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centers. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:High-school diploma or equivalent POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Background with programming and operating CNC lathes (2 axis)Background with programming and operating vertical and horizontal machining centers (5 axis)Background with Fanuc M & G codesExperience with Solid Edge or Solid WorksExperience with Mastercam XExperience with turning and machining technologies and processes ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Programming of Lathes and machining centersUnderstand tool wear and cutter compensationOffer recommendations regarding design to reduce costResolve any challenges regarding machining of partsWork with operators to assure quality
