Production Welder, 2nd Shift-1-2 yrs production welding exp and/or training - (Cedar Falls, IA)

Responsibilities: Fabricating weldments from blueprints and ensuring that the material is welded correctly; Ensuring attention to detail by grouping materials together, checking sizes to print, tacking together weldment, and verifying tolerances; Performing weldment procedures including hard weld, production welding, and heat welding; Finishing weldment by grinding, sanding, or chipping rough or sharp edges, weld splatter, surplus weld or scale to specifications.Education: High-school or GED required. Key skills: 1-2yrs of production welding background and/or training; Expertise to read blueprints and instructions; Mathematical skills as they pertain to welding including American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance; Expertise to lift or move up to 50 lbs; Expertise to work second shift.
