GRANT WRITER COUNTY OF JACKSON POSTING PERIOD: January 3, 2017 through February 1, 2017 GRANT WRITER Full-time, Non-Union - Exempt POSITION: GRANT WRITER DEPARTMENT: County Administration PAY LEVEL: Grade K: $49,608 SUMMARY: Reporting to the County Administrator, primary assignments include preparation of proposals and grant applications, and performance of responsible professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities. Coordinate and oversee the grant application and management process including: identification of new funding sources, development of funding resources for existing and proposed programs and/or services, writing grants, developing budgets, collaborating on grant applications with County departments, local government and other organizations that can share grant resources and responsibilities, and processing, monitoring and coordinating required report evaluations on existing grants.
