Responsibilities: Ensuring the proper performance of processing machinery used in food production; Changing parts, lubricating machinery, troubleshooting basic electrical/mechanical problems; Starting and observing machinery to determine efficiency and detect problems; Inspecting or testing damaged parts to detect and mark defective areas; Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies to maintain stock; Using cranes, hoists, or dollies to transport machine parts, tools, equipment, etc. General sanitary cleaning of equipment. Education: High-school/GED required; 2-year degree preferred. Necessary skills: 1-2+ years of maintenance mechanic background; Background in the food processing and food production industry; Great communication expertise.
