Manufacturing Laborers $9 Hour Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm Our client a leader in the chemical industry located in Mt Meigs, Alabama, currently has openings for Laborers. These are long-term indefinite positions that have the possibility to go temp to perm for the right applicants. Duties will include sorting material from open tanks to recover metallurgical grade silicon. Specific Tasks: Removal of rubbish from dross reclaim area. Breakdown of materials to run in screener. Visual inspect and separate dross from silicon metal. Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area and other areas of the plant as needed. Qualifications: Must have forklift background. Prior manufacturing background required. Background using a front end loader preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs routinely. Must have high-school certificate or GED.
