Assistant Warehouse Leader - (East Longmeadow, MA)

• Responsible for covering shift responsibilities in the absence of shift Warehouse Leaders and Backup Leaders. Also helps cover shifts in outside warehouses when assigned by warehouse lead. • Assist warehouse leader in Overseeing the Finished Goods and Raw Material Handlers on their shift and ensure efficient movement and storage of raw materials and finished product. • Assist Warehouse Leader to maintain communication between shifts and associates. • Assists Warehouse Leader to assign staffing to meet daily qualifications based on work load (adjusting levels by shift). • Assist in providing warehouse leader with associate performance evaluation and disciplinary purposes. • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in the proper training and testing of new hires and existing associates. • Verifies adherence to all procedures within Safety, Corporate / Site Quality System, Operational Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO standards.
