Medical Insurance Specialist - This is a Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (8 hour shifts), 5+ month position paying $12.00 - $15.00/ per hour Depending on Experience. Corestaff Services is seeking one contract Medical Billing/Accounts Receivable for a medical company located in Beaumont, TX. The position is for an Accounts Receivable Associate working Medical Billing / Claims. The applicant would be following up for payment on anesthesia accounts (patient’s having had anesthesia services for a surgery) that have been billed to the patient’s insurance provided at the time of admission. Job description: Verify insurance benefits for six Medical Oncologists, one Radiation Oncologist, and one Nurse Practitioner. Enter updated insurance benefits. Ensure that referrals are obtained for services, if required by the Payor. Review and ensure that authorizations are valid for treatment, if required by the Payor.
