Key Account Manager - (Lansing, MI)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develops and grows sales in specified territory. Builds strong relationships within the Horticultural industry. Gains a strong understanding of the needs of current accounts and provides them with solutions to enhance the accounts profitability. Builds long-term relationships with current accounts. Works directly with design team to develop creative solutions for individual accounts. Demonstrates valuable market and product knowledge to create a better understanding of customer needs. Develops and maintains a computerized system to track prospect activity and successes. Submits completed orders and project requests in a timely manner. Submits territory activity and sales reports. Maintains contact and sales records. Performs other job assignments as assigned. Requirements: Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from a 4 year college or university. Must have extensive background in merchandising with mass market retail customers.
