Research Specialist Sr.-VTTI, Arizona - (Phoenix, AZ)
Virginia Tech Transportation Institute is looking for Research Specialists, to provide assistance to research faculty in conducting human factors transportation research. Duties include : managing and performing data collection (this includes trouble-shooting data collection systems) at an install facility in Phoenix, Arizona, or in other locations as directed; independently follow research protocols directed at, as well as performing, data collection, data download, data reduction (using custom tools such as VTTI laptop, Installer software, and maintenance software), and data analysis using specialized human factors techniques and methods; inspect collected data for data entry errors, data outliers, missing data, and data collection execution errors, recruit, screen, and work with human subjects in a professional and scientific manner; perform other duties in support of conducting research projects. Necessary experience : Proven background in human factors transportation research.
