Quality Engineer - (Columbus, OH)

Quality Engineer (Immediate need!!) Upper Midwest Salary: 40-60K (Commensurate with background) We are currently looking for a Quality Process Engineer for an excellent client in the Midwest. Will plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance, and continuous improvement, of high pressure laminate as well as solid wood manufacturing and assembly processes. Education and Job responsibilities: Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred, but will consider less consider background. 3 + years related skills in a quality related field within multifaceted manufacturing/assembly operation. -Knowledge of high pressure laminates as well as solid wood manufacturing. -Self-starter, able to get a company to ISO or at least very close to ISO certification. -Willing to do the day to day work, solid person " no job to job jumper. -Understanding of lean manufacturing and/or other World Class Manufacturing process a plus.
