Painter / Powder Applicator at Bobcat - (Bismarck, ND)

Position: Painter/Powder Applicator at Bobcat Position classification: Hourly - first, second and third shift available Position Objective: Sets up and operates equipment used to prepare incoming parts for the pre-treat conversion coating, prime coat liquid and top coat powder necessary to provide quality surface on parts that run through the paint line systems Principal Responsibilities: Applies dry powder paint to all parts that pass through the paint booths by using established methods and procedures, making sure that the quality of the paint is maintained. Performs preventative maintenance on paint booths to ensure continuous and consistent operation. Keeps work area clean in order to maintain equipment and safety of area. Moves work materials within the workstation by operating a hoist and driving a forklift. Assists in reworking of parts. Completes ISO Checklists. Logs in and operates computers to input defects found on parts on corresponding carriers for tracking purposes.
