Senior Research Scientist I - Chemical Development in Albany, NY Albany Molecular Research Inc. provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Looking for an experienced crystallization specialist (5-six years) who has strong knowledge and has background in developing crystallization processes. Prefers a work experience in technology transfer of crystallization processes in the following areas: Systematically be able to approach crystallization development for quality improvement, desolvation processes and diasteriomeric selectivity. Systematically approach to shoot for a target particle size distribution. Understand implications of particle size attrition during scale up/drying and other unit operations. Understand issues surrounding different polymorphs. Map out appropriate phase diagram of various forms. Approach Systematically to develop processes to obtain a kinetic/thermodynamic form on scale.
