Accountant Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and reporting of financial info reporting to the Senior Accountant and Asst. VP of Fiscal Operations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Assists with preparation of quarterly financial reporting for presentations to foundation trustees. - Assists with the preparation of annual financial statements and annual tax filings. - Provides/conducts cash management activities for foundation accounts. - Produces monthly cash balance reports and other financial statements and reports as required. - Monitors daily banking/recording of investments - capital calls and distributions. - Reviews support for invoices. - Creates monthly ledger entries and cash position reports. - Records custodian's investment activity and distributions from partnerships. - Maintains investment files and files support for wire transfers and other documents as needed. - Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff, vendors and the general public.
