The Floyd County Times Now accepting applications for the full time position of GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER We are offering a great opportunity to become a team player with a leading news and multimedia organization. Primary assignments include covering a dynamic and diverse county, reporting on issues ranging from police and sheriff activities to local government and politics, and other beats as necessary, possibly including some sports reporting. The general assignment reporter will also will produce feature writing that tells the stories of local people, organizations and activities.
