92M Mortuary Affairs Specialist - (Grand Forks, ND)

The Soldier who has given his or her life in service to their country has made the ultimate sacrifice. The Army National Guard demands that these Soldiers receive the ultimate in care and respect as they are laid to rest in recognition of that sacrifice. The Mortuary Affairs Specialist performs duties relating to the search, recovery, processing, and evacuation of the remains of deceased U.S. Armed Forces personnel. Mortuary Affairs Specialists also inventory, safeguard, and ensure the recovery and safe return of personal effects. They coordinate with non-U.S. authorities concerning disposition of enemy, allied, or civilian remains, and may serve as teammates and recovery specialists at the Army's Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii.
