Senior Trial Attorney - (Metairie, LA)

Where Great People Build Successful Careers. The Hanover is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join our growing team in our Metairie, LA office. Position overview: Based out of Metairie, LA, this position investigates and manages liability cases in civil litigation from the inception of the lawsuit until conclusion through dismissal, settlement or trial. Works with adjuster and clients to resolve claims as expeditiously and efficiently as possible. Responsibilities/Required functions: Handles a caseload involving moderate to high exposures pending throughout the State of Louisiana. Exposures principally involve general liability, premises liability, products liability and, to a lesser extent, auto liability claims. Experience with and/or the expertise to handle or assist with a smaller subset of workers' compensation defense casework is also desirable. Independently conducts trials, pre-trials, mediations, arbitrations or any other legal activity required to resolve cases.
