Systems Engineer - (Chicago, IL)

The Systems Engineer position is responsible for developing system level qualifications and architectures for vehicle electronics development. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop vehicle electronics system qualifications and use cases for future platforms • Allocate qualifications to vehicle subsystems • Gather existing/legacy qualifications and identify common use cases • Functional requirement decomposition using systems analysis artifacts and tools • Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred with a min of ten years applicable background. Fewer years of background will be considered with an advanced degree. • Familiarity with military vehicle development milestones (SFR, PDR, CDR, etc.) preferred • Familiarity with systems analysis tools (e.g., UML, SysML) • Familiarity with generating systems analysis artifacts (e.g., activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc.) • Familiarity with all aspects of vehicle design • Familiarity with development life-cycle
