Police Officer (PRN, As Needed) ( Job Number: 06218-65187 ) Work Location : United States-Texas-Texas City-Mainland Medical Center - Texas City Schedule : PRN/Per Diem Description POSITION GOAL: Promotes and maintains the facility`s security and property protection programs in accordance with facility policy and applicable law. Works to protect hospital personnel, property and grounds against loss from fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry or inappropriate use. Reports to Director of Plant Operations all pertinent news regarding security conditions and incidents. Participates in overall hospital customer service and performance improvement programs. POSITION ASSIGNMENTS: E1. Patrols building and grounds for hazard surveillance, loss prevention, and safety and security of staff, patients, visitors, and property. E2. Monitors and utilizes surveillance systems for loss prevention and safety. E3. Warns violators of infractions of hospital policy or law.
