Customer Service Coordinator (Healthcare) - (Southfield, MI)

Summary This position is primarily responsible for driving the customer service initiatives and assisting in pre-admission, admission, discharge and follow up procedures/processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Provides a smooth and reassuring transition for new residents and families via follow up phone calls and/or face to face conversations during family visitations * Drives the facility TLC program including collaborating with Ambassadors and other teammates to identify and resolve customer concerns * Coordinates referral and approval processes * Assists with confirmation and/or arrangements for admissions and ensures notification to the leadership team of all anticipated admissions. * Greets and acclimates new resident/patients to the facility upon arrival * Facilitates and completes admission paperwork with new admissions and families. * Acts as a liaison in following up on customer concerns to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
