Analytical Chemist - (Tucson, AZ)

Kelly Services has an immediate opening for an experience Analytical Chemist This position is responsible for collecting water samples from a series of nearby hydroponic pools and and conducting a series of microscopic and wet chemistry analyses in the field laboratory. Candidates who are qualified will possess the following skills and experiene: - Bachelor-s degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related position - Min of 1-3yrs of laboratory experience - Experience with wet chemistry analyses, spectrophotometric and gravimetric techniques, and basic microscopic techniques - Proficient in data documentation and basic data analysis (statistical experience a plus) expertise to communicate daily results to the team - Highly organized and able to maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, and proficient with Ms word/Microsoft excel - Expertise to work safely and efficiently in a combined outdoor field and wet chemistry lab - Physically able to walk on uneven soil to sampling positions
