Under the direction of the Patient Access Department leadership, responsible to facilitate the patient registration flow, including such activities as point of service patient identification; gathering demographic details; securing financial, 3rd-party, and sponsorship data; obtaining required signatures and documents needed for compliance and appropriately collecting co-payment and reconciling cash. May also be responsible for pre-registration, benefit verification and pre-admission, and ED patient arrivals.
