Digital Editor We're seeking a creative Digital Editor, a key newsroom leadership position. The Digital Editor will create, assign, and edit web content for PostBulletin.com. The editor will also be responsible for curating content of local interest, optimizing content for social media, and initiating new digital products. Creative, day-long focus on mobile value is essential. Education: Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, digital media, or related fields. Background: 3+ years background in print, digital, or broadcast journalism. Exceptional communication, writing, editing and people skills. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, XML and other basics of Web publishing. Familiarity with digital photo and video technology. Understanding of SEO and web siteanalytics. Proficiency in social media and blogging strategies. Energetic, personable and eager for a high-profile role in the community. Must be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced media environment.
