Seeking News Editor/Designer The Daily Sentinel, an award-winning, seven-day-a-week newspaper with deep roots in the community, is seeking a talented news editor to join the team. The perfect candidate is skilled at designing creative, eye-catching front and feature pages, with strong writing, editing and headline-written correspondence skills. A solid knowledge of AP style, Adobe's InDesign, InCopy and Photoshop is recommended. The strongest applicants will have at least 2 years' background. The news editor oversees the copy desk. Duties include: designing Page 1A, feature and news pages; editing local and wire stories; writing headlines and proof reading; and posting content to the newspaper's web siteand social media sites.
