Senior Accountant- to $90K - (Mundelein, IL)

Senior Accountant Great opportunity to join a growing accounting team of a 50+ year old company. The Senior Accountant will collaborate together with a Controller to maintain General Ledger accounts, perform month-end close activities, support external Auditors and prepare financial analysis for management. Some primary tasks include but are not limited to: Preparing monthly consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income and cash flow statements) Reconciling and analyzing General Ledger Accounts and ensure adherence to GAAP Performing variance analysis and providing recommendations based on results Recommending process improvement and assisting with updating accounting policies
