Staffing - IT Network Engineer - (Hickory, NC)

Position title: IT Network Engineer Location: Hickory, NC Duration: 1+ years contract Travel Requirement: This position will require 30-50% travel between Hickory and Mexico Scope of Position Provide technical leadership for LAN/WAN related projects. Design and implement LAN/WAN networks within the Company's infrastructure. Essential responsibilities: Network (LAN/WAN/WLAN) design and implementation Develop and document templates and standards for supporting the network infrastructure. Configure switches and routers to be deployed in various company sites Implement and troubleshoot wireless networks, lightweight and autonomous Expertise to perform packet capture and analysis Able to work with spreadsheets, drawings, and ms word documents Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls to isolate non-compliant devices on the network. Work with the team to complete complex switch and router installations Respond to customer requirements and ensure that customer needs are being met by IT.
