Clinical Laboratory Scientist - (Milpitas, CA)

Stanford Health Care is expanding its facilities to partner with the community and to support the growing need for outstanding outpatient services in the East Bay. Our brand new Stanford Health Care Emeryville facility will bring outpatient surgery, imaging, specialty care and primary care together to deliver leading edge and coordinated care to patients in the East Bay. This facility is scheduled to open in Spring 2017. The Clinical Lab Scientist performs a broad range of medical laboratory tests used to diagnose, treat and prevent disease. Using technical knowledge and a theoretical understanding of the basis of the tests, records and validates the accuracy and quality of results to ensure conformity to specifications. Understands and applies the correct control measures and protocols in cases of abnormal results, reporting any discrepancies to a Senior, Reference, or Supervising Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Calibrates assays where the calibration is part of each run.
