Laborer/Loader - (Tama, IA)

Position overview: The Loader/Laborer has responsibility for operations of the plant including basic functions such as receipt and shipment of raw materials and asphalt products and the maintenance of the equipment in the facility. They will be responsible for the successful delivery and receipt of asphalt product by truck and rail to meet customer demands. This position will report to the Plant Manager. In the event of terminal and other system "call outs", you are willing to be available for on-call rotation during selected nights and weekends as required by the number of personnel in rotation. Job Functions: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards and processes Receive, unload/load and ship raw materials and liquid asphalt products including unloading rail car shipments Provide outstanding customer service while interfacing with customers while performing duties Understand product composition and production to ensure proper product blending
