Gibbs Die Casting Corporation JOB SUMMARY TITLE: Machining Production Engineer DIVISION: Machining - Comac DEPARTMENT: Application Engineering REPORTS TO: Engineering and Automation Manager FLSA STATUS: Salary – Exempt ESSENTIAL GOALS, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Integration of New and Re-deploy Automated / Machining application Onsite and offsite. Work in conjunction with Process Engineering group to problem solve programing issues in relation to equipment functionality and customer specification. Train machine ops and Set up for Machining Cell applications and Production process, as needed, across all shifts. Review production parts and tooling updates, program changes and new programs, assist process engineering with keeping manual Machine Back- ups on Network by Machine ID. Programmer for CNC Machine’s 3Axis .4Axis, Lathes, Fanuc Robot programming, Level 1, Material handling and integration. Support Tool Designer with application and Processing.
