Regional Safety Coordinator - (Belvidere, IL)

PURPOSE: In partnership with Regional Leadership and Safety Coordinator team, support established safety program requirements and strategy that ensures a safe work atmosphere for team members. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must adhere to Harris Rebar's safety programs and standards. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebar's vision and values. Provide multiple branches with support at managing their local safety programs. This would include the companies Injury Illness Prevention Program and all other OSHA required safety programs. Act as a resource for safety related issues supporting regional, branch, and shop Monitor compliance with Federal, State and Local Provide assistance and training for all team members in hazard recognition. Conduct and document regular safety inspections. Conduct regular interviews with shop team members to determine and confirm their understanding of Harris Rebar's Code of Safest Practices.
