Purchasing Manager - (Culver City, CA)

Punch Studio is seeking a qualified, talented, innovative and motivational applicant to join and lead the purchasing team. Perfect applicant will be able to quickly demonstrate their expertise to support the organization growth and various project goals with a very professional, friendly and collaborative attitude. Must possess the expertise to mentor the purchasing team and work with people of various experience and culture. Assignments include but not limited to: Guide, train and evaluate Buyers and Assistant Buyers Validate and authorize purchase orders and vendor invoices Develop new or maintain existing purchasing strategies Create, track and report on metrics to improve effectiveness Effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines Partner with other departments such as Product Development, Customer Service, Sales and Warehouse to ensure objectives are met efficiently Assess vendor performance based upon price, quality and reliability of delivery time of vendor products and services
