Duties •Prepare purchase orders on a daily basis, clarifying unclear items and recommending alternatives • Diligently go through all requisitions and ensure the group is buying the right product at the lowest price and best delivery •Negotiate with vendors for best prices, terms and deliveries •Understand industry trends •Interface with internal customers about their product needs •Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers •Assist accounting in resolving three-way match errors
