Temporary WIC Nutrition Aide (425-088) - (Norwich, CT)

As part of the WIC team, responsible for direct service provision to clients with emphasis on nutrition/health education and counseling.Necessary skills: Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited four-year institution with a major in foods and nutrition, community nutrition, nutrition education, nutritional sciences, health education or medical sciences plus 1 yr of related work background. OR Associates degree from an accredited school with a major in diet tech or health related program plus 3yrs of work background or currently enrolled in nutritional/health sciences plus equivalent work background to total 4 yrs. Technical skills and current understanding of Ms office. Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
